President of the Polish Automotive Industry Association
He began his career at Renault, then served as director of sales and marketing at the exclusive importer of cars SAAB, continuing as head of the marketing department at Scania Poland SA.In 2002 he became director of the Association of Official Car Importers, the organization which subsequently became a Polish Automotive Industry Association, chaired by the president. Under his leadership PZPM has become the largest Polish employers 'organization the automotive industry, bringing together the official importers, manufacturers' representatives and manufacturers of motor vehicles, motorcycles, as well as trailers, semi-trailers and parts, assemblies and components of motor vehicles. Jakub Faryś supports activities for the development and promotion of the Polish automotive sector, participates in the work of the government and the parliamentary committees with the most important opinions on draft laws on the automotive industry. Represents the interests of member companies in the bodies of the European Union - including in the European Parliament and the European, European trade organizations - ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers' Association) and ACEM (European Motorcycle Manufacturers Association).
